Emergency water supply points – access improvement New
Victoria has a network of over 300 emergency water supply points (EWSPs) which provide water for stock and domestic purposes during severe dry seasonal conditions, surface water scarcity and bushfires.
This program will improve access to EWSPs across areas where there is a high incidence of water carting. This will provide additional access for both stock and domestic purposes.
Available in Central and East Gippsland and other areas of identified need.
Call the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning on 136 186 or visit the DELWP website.
This initiative will support the control of wildlife through increased state-wide processing resources and a streamlined application process for drought affected areas under the Authority To Control Wildlife (ATCW) permit system.
