The department works with a range of partners to provide workshops for farmers to help them make the most of seasonal conditions. These can be part of an ongoing program or arranged specifically if the need arises.
Where relevant these events will also help farmers with decisions about managing with blue-green algae.
Some of the events below are provided by industry groups and providers, these are consistent with departmental programs and messaging.
In addition to these events the department runs specific programs where those involved will be invited to arrange of activities. The department's Beef and Sheep Networks would be a good example of programs that deliver regular farmer events.
To seek more general information about events and to discuss if it is possible to hold a session in your area, please either call your local office or departmental contact, or 136 186.
