Young Farmers Scholarship Program
The Young Farmers Scholarship Program is an opportunity to invest in you and your career. Up to $10,000 is available per scholarship, $5,000 towards study backed by further funds to invest on-farm or in professional development activities to help put new skills into practice.
Each year, 10-15 scholarships will be available for young farmers aged 35 or under.
The scholarship program is designed to be flexible, to fit with the demands and ambitions of young farmers and farm workers. We have developed a number of examples to demonstrate how the Upskill and Invest Scholarship Program could help you and your farm business excel.
The application period for the scholarship has now closed.
A selection panel has been convened to help assess the applications on behalf on the Minister.
The lucky recipients of the Young Farmers Scholarship 2015 will be announced late October.
