Livestock Disease Control Act 1994
In accordance with the provisions of Section 10(4) of the Livestock Disease Control Act 1994 (the Act), and clause 7(a) of the Order declaring a control area for bovine Johne’s disease and declaring prohibitions on entry of susceptible livestock into Victoria made under the Act and published in Government Gazette No. G51 on 16 December 2004 at pages 3415 – 2417, a person may bring into or cause or permit or allow to be brought into Victoria any diseased cattle infected with paratuberculosis (Johne’s disease).
Period of licence: 1 July 2019 – 30 June 2022
Conditions of licence:
- The cattle must be identified in accordance with the National Livestock Identification System (Cattle).
- The cattle must be accompanied by a completed National Vendor Declaration.
