Declared outbreak zones
The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) has developed an interactive web-based application for growers to determine whether they are located within a declared outbreak restricted area inside the Sunraysia Pest Free Area (PFA). All you need to do is enter your address and the map will tell you whether there are restrictions in place.
Enter your full street address in the box below and then click the 'Am I Affected?' button. Or view the towns affected in text format.
If your address is displayed within a green, lighter shaded area, you are in an active, declared outbreak zone within the PFA.
If your address lies within a purple, darker shaded area, you are in a pending outbreak zone (i.e. one that is awaiting declaration).
Note that all of Victoria, with exception of the PFA, is in a Queensland fruit fly (QFF) suspension zone and is in QFF outbreak. Certification protocols apply for all produce being moved to sensitive markets (e.g. Tasmania).
