Declared outbreak zones
Agriculture Victoria has developed an interactive web-based application for growers to determine whether they are located within a declared Queensland fruit fly outbreak restricted area inside the Sunraysia Pest Free Area (PFA). All you need to do is enter your address and the map will tell you whether there are restrictions in place.
Enter your full street address in the box below and then click the 'Am I Affected?' button. Or view the towns affected in text format.
If your address is displayed within a green, lighter shaded area, you are in an active, declared outbreak zone within the PFA.
If your address lies within a purple, darker shaded area, you are in a pending outbreak zone (one that is awaiting declaration).
Note that the majority of Victoria is considered not to be free of Queensland fruit fly (QFF), with the exception of the PFA. Certification protocols apply for all produce being moved from these areas of Victoria to sensitive markets (for example, Tasmania).
Visit the Greater Sunraysia Pest Free Area website for information about the PFA and Queensland fruit fly.
