Responsible Dog Ownership Course
The Responsible Dog Ownership Course is designed to give you some basic information about your legal responsibilities as a dog owner. It is important to remember that all dog owners must take care of their dog and ensure that their dog does not pose a risk or a nuisance to other members of the community.

Completion Certificate and Tests
To achieve a completion certificate you must achieve a 90% pass grade in all tests that you enroll in.
Participants who fail to pass the core exam may take it a second time. If you fail a second time, you will need to re-enrol in the course.
When registering, if you selected that you own a Restricted Breed Dog you will be provided eith extra information and an assessment.
If you selected that you own a Declared Dangerous Dog, Declared Menacing Dog or a Guard Dog, you will also be provided with extra information and an assessment.

Hardcopy booklets containing the course content can be obtained through the Information Centre. Booklets can be purchased for $15 (incl GST and postage) by visiting, calling or emailing the Information Centre. Payment can be made by credit card, cash or check/money order.
