Victoria's food and fibre export performance
Victoria has demonstrated once again that it is the premier state for food and fibre, with exports growing 7% from the previous year to reach a record $19.6 billion in 2022‑23.
This result cements the state’s position as Australia’s largest food and fibre exporter by value, accounting for 24% of the national total, and brings us closer to achieving our $20‑billion‑by‑2030 export target.
