Join John Webb Ware, Ben Ashton and Leah Tyrell for the Mackinnon Project roadshow in Mansfield.
The roadshow will address the key profitability drivers for sheep producers and include:
- the importance of management decisions based around the autumn break
- practical pasture assessment to help determine pasture availability and supplementary feeding needs
- the time of lambing, covering:
- feed availability
- market demand
- labour resources.
- reproductive manipulation techniques.
Morning tea and lunch provided.

10:00 am - Session 1: Predicting the autumn break.
11:00 am – Session 2: Practically assessing pastures on your property.
12.00 pm - Break for lunch.
12:30 pm - Session 3: Selecting a time to lamb for your farm.
1:30 pm - Session 4: Manipulating reproductive performance in your flock.
2:30 pm - Closing discussion and conclusion.
