Join our webinar about locust plague risk and management in the Wimmera and Mallee this spring. The webinar will include a discussion with locust experts from Agriculture Victoria.

The Australian plague locust is a native insect that can cause significant damage to pastures, crops and horticultural production if left unmanaged.

There is an increased risk of high locust activity in north-west Victoria this spring.

Potentially affected areas include the local government areas of Mildura, Swan Hill, West Wimmera, Hindmarsh, Yarriambiack, Buloke and Gannawarra.

This information session will cover locust identification and biology, control and potential impacts on agricultural production. The session will also include information about Agriculture Victoria activities and where to find further information.
