EVENT DESCRIPTION
6.30 to 9.30 pm
After difficult seasons marked by drought in South West Victoria, local farmers are invited to attend a Refresh and Reset farmer dinner and Workshop at the Farmers Arms Hotel in Beeac.
This evening event will bring farmers together in a relaxed setting to share a meal, connect with others in the community, and focus on practical steps for the months ahead.
The session will support farmers to make confident and timely farm management decisions leading into Autumn 2026. With guidance from experienced advisors Adam and Cath Jenkins, the workshop will explore key decision points, seasonal triggers and practical planning across livestock, pasture, financial and operational management.
The discussion will also acknowledge the challenges of drought response and recovery, helping farmers assess risks and opportunities as conditions change.
Participants will leave with practical tools to guide their next steps on-farm, including identifying key indicators to watch and actions to take in the coming months. The evening will highlight additional supports available to farmers, including financial and wellbeing services, while providing valuable time to connect with others facing similar challenges.
A 2-course meal will be provided. Drinks at bar prices.
