Andrew Speirs, Senior Agronomist, Meridian Agriculture will discuss several important agronomic topics relevant to pasture and fodder systems, including:

• Impact of hay and silage removal
• Costing available nutrients given limited product availability.

Rob Herrmann will provide a timely Commodity Market Update, including discussion around:

• National herd and flock numbers
• Sheep outlook
• Beef outlook
• International pressures and opportunities.

This session will offer practical insight into the broader market environment and what current trends may mean for local livestock producers moving forward.
