Strategic Financial Literacy: Understanding Your Farm’s Finances.

This one-day workshop is designed for all farming businesses, no matter your size or enterprise type. It is an excellent workshop for those at the start of their farm management career, looking to boost their financial literacy.

Interest rates, commodity prices, input costs and seasonal conditions are common pressure points to farming businesses. Understanding finance can be overwhelming. This workshop will help producers have a better understanding of their financial position.

This event is being delivered by Pinion Advisory on behalf of Agriculture Victoria as part of the Victorian Government’s statewide Drought Support Package.

The workshop will equip participants with clarity on:

• financial budgeting
• key financial reports and KPI
• approaching the bank and what it means to be ‘bank ready’
• farm debt management.

Participants will gain confidence in their language and comprehension of finance in the farming setting.

Participants will understand key concepts and principles that will support them in pursuing their business goals.
