The term of the Victorian Strawberry Industry Development Order is coming to an end
The Victorian Strawberry Industry Development Order 2014 (2014 Order) will expire on 30 June 2026.
To enable the Victorian Strawberry Industry Development Committee (IDC) to continue providing services to growers, the Victorian Strawberry Growers’ Association has petitioned the Victorian Minister for Agriculture to hold a producer poll to continue the Order.
A postal ballot Victorian strawberry producers will be held between 27 January 2026 and 24 February 2026.
The Victorian Electoral Commission will conduct the poll and will post ballots to Victorian strawberry producers.
A provisional roll of strawberry growers who are eligible to vote in the poll has been prepared. It is the responsibility of each strawberry grower to ensure that he or she is correctly listed on the roll.

Following the completion of the poll, the Minister for Agriculture will decide whether to continue the 2014 Order for another 4-year term. The Minister will make a decision after considering the result of the poll and any submissions received on the Order.
