Victoria’s food and fibre export performance

Victoria has demonstrated once again that it is the premier state for food and fibre, with exports growing 3% from the previous year to reach a record $20.1 billion in 2023–24.

This result cements the state’s position as Australia’s largest food and fibre exporter by value, accounting for 27% of the national total, and surpassing the government’s $20 billion export target by 2030, 6 years ahead of schedule.
