Condition 47C - Cucumber Green Mottle Mosaic Virus: Agricultural equipment and packages

Any equipment or used package originating from an area covered by an Area Freedom Certificate declaring that the area from which the host material originated is known to be free of cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV) or sourced from a State or Territory that is known to be free of CGMMV, may enter Victoria without restriction, otherwise —
the movement into Victoria of any equipment or used packaging used in association with the growing, harvesting and packaging of any host plant or plant product is prohibited unless:
- it has been cleaned free of earth material and organic matter by
- steam cleaning; or
- washing with high pressure hot water; and
- disinfection with a solution containing not less than 100ppm available chlorine used as a spray rinse or drench treatment; or
- enters Victoria in accordance with a permit issued by Agriculture Victoria. To apply for a permit visit the Plant biosecurity permit page
'host plant' means any plant or plant product, excluding fruit, from the family Cucurbitaceae.
