Carbon Farming Outreach Program

Carbon Farming Outreach Program – phase 1

October 2024 to March 2026

The first phase of the program was designed to help Victorian farmers, land managers and service providers:

  • understand their greenhouse gas emissions
  • find ways to reduce their emissions and store carbon.

Agriculture Victoria partnered with Landcare Victoria and the 10 catchment management authorities to offer training across Victoria. Over 18 months, independent, trusted experts delivered:

  • 121 free training events at 93 locations across Victoria
  • 33 online events.

These reached 4,060 farmers, land managers and service providers.
