Bounty program update
The Victorian Fox and Wild Dog Bounty will continue in line with the Victorian Governments budget announcement on 7 May 2024. The collection schedule for the remainder of the 2024 bounty season is now available on this web page.
Participants are reminded that the Victorian Fox and Wild Dog Bounty is now digital. Agriculture Victoria introduced the digital system to streamline the application process, reduce wait times at collection centres and allow participants to keep track of bounty applications.

Payment via cheque will no longer be available after 1 July 2024.
Participants are reminded that the wild dog component of the bounty program has ceased in north west Victoria in line with the changes made to the dingo unprotection order on 14 March 2024. There have been no changes to the fox component of the bounty in north west Victoria.
Wild dog collections will continue in the east of the State in line with the current terms and conditions. The continuation of the wild dog component of the bounty beyond 1 October 2024 will be determined in line with the outcomes of the Victorian Dingo Conservation review being led by DEECA. Acceptable entire fox scalps and entire wild dog body parts will be collected from eligible members of the public at specific dates and times, and from sites scheduled as collection centres. Refer to Bounty terms and conditions for more details.
Please note that no fox scalps or wild dog body parts will be accepted at any public counter or state government office. Collections will only be accepted at the designated times and locations.
