Young Farmer Business Bootcamps

Agriculture Victoria is pleased to present the Young Farmer Business Bootcamps, an exciting program for young farmers or producers new to farming.

Delivered at various locations across Victoria, Young Farmer Business Bootcamps help producers to understand and manage business risk, develop a business plan to grow their business and have confidence that there is a future in agriculture for them.

Bootcamps are aimed at young producers from beef, sheep, horticulture and mixed farming businesses.

These fun and interactive Bootcamps utilise a series of farm case studies as real-life examples, providing participants with the skills to help them manage their farm business now, as well as planning for their business into the future.

Participants have opportunities to discuss individual circumstances with the presenters throughout the Bootcamp.

Bootcamps are delivered by experts in farm business management.

The Young Farmer Business Bootcamp is provided by Agriculture Victoria’s Young Farmer Network as a part of the Farm Business Resilience Program.

The Farm Business Resilience Program is jointly funded through the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund and the Victorian Government’s Future Agriculture Skills Capacity Fund.

Agriculture Victoria would like to acknowledge Australian wool innovation for their support of the initial Young Farmer Farm Business Bootcamp program.
