Localities within the Mitta Mitta and Sandy Creek dingo predation management zone include:
- Charleroi
- Dartmouth
- Dederang
- Eskdale
- Gundowring
- Huon
- Kergunyah South
- Mitta Mitta
- Mongans Bridge
- Running Creek
- Sandy Creek
- Tallandoon
- Tallangatta
- Tallangatta South
- Tawonga
- Upper Gundowring.
Trapping activities in response to dingo related incident reports can be undertaken on the majority of tracks on public land within 3 km of the private land and public land interface surrounding the above mentioned localities.
Targeted ground-baiting transects are located on public land:
- south of Tallangatta
- south-east of Gundowring
- east of Running Creek
- east of Tawonga
- north-east of Mitta Mitta
- north of Dartmouth
- south-east, south and west of Granite Flat.
The map shows within the Mitta Mitta and Sandy Creek dingo predation management zone there is 100,890 hectares of public land, 64,270 hectares of land under the 3 km livestock protection buffer and 37,022 hectares of private land. There is one Vertebrate Species Management Officer and 59 km of targeted ground baiting transects.
