Localities within the Tallangatta dingo predation management zone include:
- Bullioh
- Dartmouth
- Georges Creek
- Koetong
- Lucyvale
- Mitta Mitta
- Nariel Valley
- Old Tallangatta
- Shelley
- Tallangatta East
- Tallangatta South
- Tallangatta Valley.
Trapping activities in response to dingo related incident reports can be undertaken on the majority of tracks on public land within 3 km of the private land and public land interface surrounding the above mentioned localities.
Targeted ground baiting transects are located on public land:
- between Tallangatta Valley and Koetong
- south and south-west of Bucheen Creek
- north of Dartmouth.
The map shows within the Tallangatta dingo predation management zone there is 60,072 hectares of public land, 39,245 hectares of land under the 3 km livestock protection buffer and 38,792 hectares of private land. There are 2 Vertebrate Species Management Officers and 51 km of priority 1 ground-baiting transects.
