As part of a strategic research partnership between Agriculture Victoria and the University of Melbourne, more than 20 PhD research fellowships are now open for application in the following industries:

About the fellowships

Delivering transformational science innovations for plant and animal industries, the new Centre for Agricultural Innovation, will host PhD students enrolled through the University of Melbourne, undertaking scientific research at Agriculture Victoria’s SmartFarms.

Successful candidates will receive:

  • A $35,000 per annum (tax-free) scholarship for up to three and a half years.
  • Access to professional development programs.
  • International travel opportunities.
  • Access to state-of-the-art technologies.

Applications

Successful applicants must meet Australian University entry requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
