Targeted ground baiting transects are located on public land:
- west of Wulgulmerang
- west of Butchers Ridge
- east and west of Murrindal
- north, east, south-west and west of Buchan
- north of Nowa Nowa.
Trapping and priority 2 ground baiting transects are a network of tracks. These are located on public land:
- surrounding Suggan Buggan
- south-east of Butchers Ridge
- north-west and west of Murrindal
- east, south and west of Buchan
- north of Nowa Nowa.
A remote ground baiting area covers public land to the north and west of Wulgulmerang.
The map shows within the Buchan and Gelantipy wild dog management zone there is 190,672 hectares of public land, 108,148 hectares of land under the three-kilometre livestock protection buffer and 46,799 of private land. There are two Wild Dog Controllers, with a capacity for 6,000 trap nights and 161 kilometres of Targeted ground baiting transects.
The Western Snowy Community Wild Dog Control group covers the majority of private land within the Buchan and Gelantipy wild dog management zone.
