On-Farm Energy and Electrification Demonstration Program
The On-Farm Energy and Electrification Demonstration (OFEED) Program aims to accelerate the uptake of proven and new-to-market energy technologies across Victoria’s agriculture sector. The program will show how energy technologies perform on Victorian farms. It will share information about costs, benefits and return on investment. This will help farmers make informed decisions and adopt technologies with confidence.
Up to $5 million in grant funding is available to deliver the OFEED program.
Grants of $200,000 to $750,000 are available for successful applicants to showcase energy technologies that can:
- improve on-farm energy efficiency
- reduce fuel, gas or energy consumption
- generate renewable energy
- provide energy storage on farm.
Further details on eligible expenditure and co-contribution requirements are provided in the application guidelines.
Funding decisions will be made after the 2026 Victorian state election and are subject to consideration by the incoming government.
