Success stories
The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Program offers financial incentives to Victorian farmers who implement energy efficiency projects. Whilst the VEU Program has delivered significant energy and cost savings across other sectors, so far there has been limited uptake in the agricultural sector.
By participating in the VEU Program, farmers can potentially recoup 10-100% of the costs of a project that reduces electricity or natural gas consumption on farm.
Agriculture Victoria has been working with farm businesses of all sizes and industries to help them understand how their business can reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency, and generate energy efficiency certificates that help farmers recoup some of the costs of an upgrade project.
Take a look at our online videos and read the following success stories to get some great ideas from what other businesses have done and take a step towards energy efficiency and cost savings.
Find out how other farm businesses have used the VEU Program to help recoup some of their upfront energy upgrade costs.
