Get into Grains aligns with Levels 5-6 of the Biological component of the Victorian F-10 curriculum.

Overview

Get into Grains has students explore the importance of preserving the diversity of crop plants. In this workshop students will:

  • undertake a tour of the grain storage facility at the Australian Grains Genebank
  • investigate crop seed adaptations
  • investigate scientific methods of classification
  • investigate how different grains relate to commonplace foods.
