Condition 47B - Cucumber Green Mottle Mosaic Virus: Plants or plant parts

Any host plant originating from an area covered by an Area Freedom Certificate declaring that the area from which the host material originated is known to be free of cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV) or grown in a State or Territory that is known to be free of CGMMV, may enter Victoria without restriction, otherwise‐

the entry of any plant or plant product (excluding fruit) from the family Cucurbitaceae is prohibited unless:

  1. the host plants have been grown on a property, where host materials have been sampled, tested and found free of CGMMV within the previous 12 months; or
  2. enters Victoria in accordance with a permit issued by Agriculture Victoria. To apply for a permit visit the Plant biosecurity permit page
